Merseyrail

Merseytravel is the operating name of the Merseyside Passenger Transport Authority and Executive.

Merseytravel coordinates public transport and works in partnership with private bus and rail operators to provide public transport on Merseyside to help you make wise moves around your region.

Merseytravel also works with the five partner authorities, Liverpool CC, Knowsley MBC, Sefton MBC, Wirral MBC, and St Helens MBC to produce a Local Transport Plan every five years.

The Merseytravel website offers a comprehensive guide to all public transport information within Merseyside, including timetables and the journey planner.
